Job Title: Cleaner / Airport Custodian / Janitor Location: Melbourne, FL 32901 Duration: 6+ months (possible extension) Shift hours: Day shift 6:30 am to 3:00 pm Night shift: Part time- Friday-Saturday/ Sunday Monday (3:00AM to 11Pm) 16hr/week Note: Valid Driving License of Florida Cleaning/Janitorial experience Must have: The Airport Custodian maintains cleanliness and sanitation throughout airport facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for passengers and staff. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Job Description: Operate and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc. Cleans office areas, stairways, jet ways, commercial aircraft and elevators. Wash walls and mirrors and use ladders when required in work assignments. Secure building when facilities not in use checking for unlocked doors and windows, report any unauthorized occupants Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Perform cleaning and related activities such as removing debris from sidewalks and stairs in areas within of buildings using hand-operated tools or small power equipment. Move furniture, equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basis. Wash accessible interior and exterior windows and blinds. Assist with inventory control Safely operate all vehicles and other job related equipment.
