Position Description

The position will actively participate in 3-9 month forecasting, month-end closing, and various ad-hoc financial and accounting duties. This role will also assist in budgeting and non-trade inter-company transactions. Work independently, and are considered seasoned and experienced professional with an adequate understanding of their own job area. Determines approach to work, and is monitored/supervised based more on a milestone basis, and at key deliverable junctures.

Responsibilities:



  • Perform 3-9 month business forecasts, which include a comprehensive forecast of mobile devices' sales quantities, wholesale prices, COGSs, and overhead expenses, as well as of business environment changes to provide better financial visibility to management.
  • Perform month-end closing from a managerial standpoint, using the SAP Controlling (CO) module while closely monitoring revenue/COGS recognition and expense allocation of various profit segments and cost centers.
  • Prepare and provide various financial reports, both regularly and as needed, to management.
  • Coordinate monthly inter-company transaction activities and follow-up requests to maintain a proper level of margin for HQ Support Division.
  • Perform other finance or administrative support projects and tasks assigned by financial management (i.e., royalty calculation, litigation-related financial data support, etc.).


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
  • Bilingual Korean required.
  • Strong business acumen; understanding commercial terms and potential impact and risk across business units.
  • Ability to work across departments to resolve urgent issues.
  • Experience in business process review and analysis, including financial and operational analysis and audits.
  • Proficient with Excel. SAP or other ERP system experience is a plus.
