The Position Job TitleMortgage Sales Manager Job DescriptionSUMMARY The Sales Manager is responsible for generating mortgage loans based on the same criteria as Mortgage Loan Consultants (MLC), and recruiting, training, and managing assigned Mortgage Loan Consultants based in production centers. This position is directly responsible for loan origination objectives and leadership strategies that will expand market share. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) Responsible for recruiting and retention of Mortgage Loan Consultants and business volumes. Responsible for the compliance with company and regulatory policies and procedures of all sales employees under his or her supervision, Ensure the management of the professionalism and quality of customer service and teamwork demonstrated by assigned employees. Responsible for maintenance and management of individual loan officer production levels to company standards. Assist, train, and manage Mortgage Loan Consultants in cross selling of bank products. Responsible for the overall quality of loan submissions. Ensure the overall growth of sales team, branch, and/or region Conduct a daily/weekly review of actual team performance against team plan. Include team actions to improve service quality. Conduct and/or participate in assigned production meetings. Proactively respond to and correct any deficiencies. Design, implement, and oversee a business development strategy consistent with FUB policies, objectives, and regulatory guidelines to manage and consistently improve the mortgage lending sales force.
