The Liu Group is recruiting an individual to work on research and projects focused on the diagnosis and management of infections in people with cancer and other immunocompromising conditions, including recipients of cellular therapy. There is one-year of funding for the position. Responsibilities The successful applicant will work on research with Dr. Catherine Liu focused on optimizing the diagnosis and management of infections in people with cancer and other immunocompromising conditions. The individual will work on projects aimed at systems and quality improvement and collaborate with the Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infection Prevention programs. The individual will also participate in clinical trials involving novel therapeutics for prevention and treatment of infections in immunocompromised individuals. Opportunities exist to contribute to writing of manuscripts as co- or lead author, grants, and presenting research at scientific meetings. The individual will also attend on Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center Infectious Disease Consult Service, and as needed on the University of Washington's Solid Organ Transplant Service provide direct clinical care as part of specialty care team. Medical Doctorate from an accredited institution/university.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The annual base salary range for this position is from $80,172 to $149,968, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
