Genesis10 is currently seeking a Workday Talent & Performance Consultant for a 6+ month contract position with our client, a Major Financial Services Company, located in Milwaukee, WI. This position is hybrid, requiring 3 days onsite in Milwaukee. Pay Rate: $55.00 - $58.00 per hour. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for advanced configuration, optimization, and technical problem solving within Workday's Talent & Performance and HCM modules
- Partner closely within the HR Technology team and with stakeholder partners to deliver scalable, high-quality Workday solutions, with a strong emphasis on configuration expertise, data integrity, and system reliability
- Support ongoing large-scale projects in the Talent & Performance modules in addition to smaller projects in Core HCM
- Configure solutions for Workday Talent, Performance, and HCM modules, ensuring design is scalable, secure, and aligned to business needs
- Design and implement complex configuration changes with a strong understanding of upstream and downstream impacts
- Serve as a consultative partner to stakeholders, guiding best practice configuration approaches
- Execute and support quality assurance and regression testing for new functionality
- Ensure configuration changes adhere to established governance and technical standards
- Support testing, deployment, and stabilization activities tied to Workday releases and enhancements
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for configurations, processes, and support procedures
- Contribute to the Workday knowledge base to support consistent delivery and cross-team learning
Requirements:
- 5-8+ years of experience supporting and configuring Workday, with deep expertise in Talent & Performance, including Skills functionality
- Proven ability to independently design, implement, and troubleshoot complex Workday configurations
- Strong understanding of HR talent processes, data structures, and system dependencies
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for technical excellence
Desired skills:
- Exposure to adjacent modules (e.g., Core HCM, Learning, Reporting) to support cross-functional solutions
