About This Role

This position provides essential administrative and operational coordination for the Applied Learning Experience (ALE) university-wide initiative. The coordinator manages the workflow of course designations and funding applications, serves as the primary logistical liaison for faculty and campus stakeholders, and facilitates access to program data to support university-wide research and evaluation.

Specific job responsibilities include:



  • Administrative Support & Workflow Coordination (65% of time)

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for faculty and staff regarding the ALE course designation process
    • Oversee and improve the process of ALE funding application and selection, ensuring all required documentation is present before committee review
    • Design and manage the process for accessing database of applied learning courses and experiences, to include the process for analyzing student experiences for research purposes
    • Build and improve technical process for supporting ALE courses
    • Monitor the ALE general email account and respond to standard inquiries independently
    • Analyze and compile assessment data and survey results from applied learning experiences, and propose program improvements to the Executive Director
    • Organize data for Executive Director to ensure accurate program reporting


  • Event & Workshop Logistics (25% of time)

    • Manage logistics for faculty workshops and ALE informational sessions (room booking, catering, material preparation, and registration)
    • Identifies challenges and develops solutions for Communities of Practice alongside subject matter experts
    • Coordinate meeting schedules for the ALE Team and any associated Faculty Senate or oversight committees
    • Assist in the preparation of presentation materials and handouts for campus-wide stakeholders


  • Service (10% of time)

    • Participation in service activities at the local, state, national, and/or international levels and serving on departmental, School, and university committees

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and four years of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of work experience and education.
  • Valid Driver's License


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with diverse campus stakeholders (Faculty, Deans, Senate)
  • Knowledge of higher education administrative structures and faculty governance processes
  • Familiarity with experiential or applied learning frameworks and pedagogy

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
