As a Security Officer Truck Gate in Denver, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Distribution Centers, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy Distribution Center where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and perform routine patrols to help support a secure and welcoming environment. In this role, you will remain visible, assist with security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Monitor access points and help manage entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, authorizations, deliveries, and/or visitor information in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, entrance areas, receiving zones, and perimeter, remaining aware of unusual activity and/or conditions that could impact daily operations.
• Support loss prevention and store operations by reporting suspicious behavior, assisting with crowd and queue monitoring, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
