Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic student to join our operation as a Quality Engineer Summer Intern. This position will assist engineering with manufacturing issues relative to customer specifications. Root cause analysis & corrective/preventative action determined as appropriate.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering (Quality, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Material Science) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent dimensional and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and team work skills
  • Knowledge of Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis and suiting methodology
  • Relevant internship/work/research experience a plus
