Video Production Engineer / AV technical Live Broadcast 12 Month contract, 40 hours a week, paid weekly Onsite in Peoria, IL Please include equipment + technical experience Our manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Video Production Engineer to provide technical leadership and handson support for video productions and live broadcasts. This role focuses on system reliability, live event execution, and video infrastructure supporting executivelevel communications. Required Technical Experience * 5-10+ years in video production engineering, broadcast operations, or live event technical roles. * Strong understanding of video signal flow, cameras, codecs, lighting, audio, and networking. * Proven experience supporting live, multicamera events. * Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and production control systems. * Ability to manage 200+ ft cable runs. * Strong judgment using fiber, SDI, HDMI, and CAT6. * Experience setting up standalone networks with 20+ devices. * Clear understanding of luma key vs. chroma key. Equipment Familiarity * Professional cameras and microphones * Video switchers * Audio interfaces * Fiber systems * RAID storage * LTO tape drives * Media asset management systems Work Environment * Based in Peoria, IL - not open to remote candidates. * Regular travel required * Occasional offhours support for live events This role supports a high volume of executive and enterprise broadcasts, requiring strong technical ownership and liveevent reliability. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of East Peoria, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
