Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

KLA is seeking a skilled and detailoriented Quality & Configuration Specialist to join our semiconductor manufacturing team in Milpitas, California. In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for ensuring that KLA systems and upgrades meet stringent quality, configuration, and cleanliness standards prior to shipment to our customers.

You will serve as a final quality gate-verifying system configuration, component integrity, cleanliness, and packaging-while working closely with crossfunctional partners across manufacturing, operations, logistics, and engineering. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, collaborative, and driven to get the job done in a fastpaced, highprecision manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform final quality inspections on semiconductor systems and upgrades prior to customer shipment
  • Verify equipment configurations against sales orders, system documentation, and build requirements
  • Ensure all components are properly packaged, labeled, protected, and in acceptable condition for shipment
  • Confirm adherence to cleanroom cleanliness, handling, and packaging requirements
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve configuration, quality, or packaging issues, escalating when appropriate
  • Execute and document SAP transactions related to system configuration, quality status, and shipment readiness
  • Partner closely with manufacturing, logistics, and engineering teams to ensure ontime, highquality deliveries
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation supporting configuration control and quality compliance
  • Demonstrate strong ownership and followthrough to drive issues to closure in a dynamic manufacturing environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, system configurations, and components
  • Working knowledge of cleanroom protocols, cleanliness standards, and packaging requirements
  • Experience with sales orders, configuration control, and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred) is a plus
  • Troubleshooting complex system, configuration, or quality issues
  • Organized with strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Demonstrated problemsolving mindset and determination to drive tasks to completion

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience
