Day Bulk Filler Operator

Job Summary:

Bongards' Creameries is seeking a Bulk Filler Operator based out of our Humboldt facility. The Bulk Filler Operator is responsible for operation of the cheese filling machine as well as verification, resupply and basic maintenance.

Job duties:

• Setup and operation of bulk cheese filler machine.
• Ensure weights of filled boxes are correct and recorded.
• Monitor the quality of the boxes and pouches and communicate to other operators.
• Verify pouches are properly sealed.
• Keep immediate work area clean, neat and organized.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Must report all food safety and quality concerns to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement.
• Ability to spend long periods of time standing
• All other duties as assigned by the lead or supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
• Ability to work independently on assigned duties
• Some mechanical aptitude
• Be coachable and able to work in a team
• Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, and other quality guidelines

• Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or designated replacement
• Must be able to lift up to 55lbs

Schedule:

• Day Shift 5:45am to 6:00pm Monday - Friday
