Security Officer -Learning Facility

As a Security Officer - HOA Gate Patrol in Westlake, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer supporting a financial institutions location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will assist with access control, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and document observations with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken per site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials as directed, and control visitor entry according to site policy.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
