As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rover Driver in Monee, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced technology location as an unarmed, driving patrol officer, helping monitor and patrol assigned areas to support a secure environment. You will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, document activity, and assist staff and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, work areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization when directed by site procedures, and report irregularities such as door prop events, damaged locks, or suspicious behavior.
• Complete routine documentation such as activity logs, patrol reports, and incident reports, and assist with basic administrative tasks related to site access and/or visitor management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
