Job Overview:

Early in your career in corporate risk, claims, or workers' compensation and ready to step into a role with real visibility into enterprise risk and insurance programs? This is where it happens.

As the Enterprise Risk Analyst, you'll partner closely with the Enterprise Insurance Manager to support Ingersoll Rand's global risk management and insurance programs. This hands-on, highly collaborative role involves working across internal teams, insurance brokers, and third-party administrators to manage insurance processes, claims activity, and compliance requirements. You will play a key role in the annual insurance renewal process, coordinating exposure data and supporting broker submissions and policy updates.

Your attention to detail will be critical as you manage Certificates of Insurance requests, reviewing contract requirements and endorsements to ensure accuracy. This position also supports monopolistic state workers' compensation renewals and quarterly filings, assists with excise tax reporting, and helps monitor workers' compensation and motor vehicle claims through third-party administrator systems-keeping the business protected and compliant.

This role is ideal for an early-mid career professional with a background in corporate risk, insurance, claims, or workers' compensation (including legal or paralegal experience) who enjoys detail-oriented work, cross-functional coordination, and making a meaningful impact on the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with data collection for the insurance renewal process, including exposure gathering (statement of values, payroll, revenues, headcount, miles driven), completion of applications, coordination of insurer/broker meetings, receipt and filing of binders and policies.
  • Primary point of contact for requests from the field, vendors, commercial teams or landlords for new or updated certificates of insurance (based on contractual requirements).
  • Assist with the process to review insurance provisions in contracts, leases and other agreements and request documentation required from insurance brokers.
  • Administer and monitor for compliance insurance filings required for monopolistic state workers compensation programs, and excise tax reporting.
  • Assist in identifying, assessing, and controlling the company's risks by running reports to analyze loss and exposure information.
  • Manage the accurate and timely payment of insurance premiums, assessments, and fees.
  • Assist in day-to-day claims management, including reporting, information gathering, and follow-up, and active communication with the third-party adjusters to secure positive outcome of claim investigations, settlements and closures.
  • Interface with internal departments (Finance, Safety, Legal, Human Resources, Compliance and IR Business Units) and insurance broker, carriers, third-party administrators, and state insurance commissions.



Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED with equivalent related work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in claims, insurance, or a related finance function.
  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective cross-functional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated ability communicating effectively and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience managing work independently, taking initiative, and driving tasks to completion.
  • 3+ years proven experience working with Windows applications and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Insurance & Risk Program Support: Ability to support enterprise insurance and risk management programs, including renewals, exposure data coordination, policy documentation, and compliance filings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Partnership: Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, insurance brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators to ensure risk management activities move forward smoothly.
  • Claims Coordination & Insurance Operations:
    Support day-to-day claims activity, including reporting, information gathering, tracking through third-party administrator systems, and communication with adjusters and partners to advance claims resolution.
  • Analytical & Data Interpretation: Ability to analyze exposure and loss data from multiple sources, identify trends, and provide clear, accurate interpretations to support risk and insurance decision-making.
  • Detail Orientation & Process Accuracy: Maintain high accuracy when managing certificates of insurance, policy documentation, compliance filings, and financial transactions such as premiums, taxes, and assessments.



Preferences
  • Bachelor
    's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Experience as a paralegal supporting workers' compensation legal matters
  • Direct claims experience or experience serving within a major insurance brokerage
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and systems



Travel and Work Arrangements
  • This role is USA Remotely based
  • Anticipated travel is less than 5 percent
  • Must be a US Citizen or a legal Permanent Resident



Pay Range: The base salary range for this role is $45,000 - $65,000 annually. The pay range considers a wide range of factors that include a candidate's skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location.
