The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

We are an innovative research team seeking a highly creative and organized Project Manager to support all media and communications needs for the Center for Behavioral Cardiovascular Health (CBCH). This role is ideal for a communications professional with a strong background in branding, design, and digital media who is experienced in translating complex scientific and research concepts into clear, compelling visual and editorial content for audiences.

The Project Manager will play a key role in developing and maintaining CBCH's presence as a leader in behavioral and cardiovascular research, supporting researchers, faculty and dissemination teams through high-quality media, branding and communication materials.

Responsibilities



  • Lead the visual and editorial development of CBCH media and communications materials across print, digital and web platforms.
  • Partner closely with principal investigators, faculty and research teams to translate complex scientific concepts into accessible, engaging content for scientific audiences
  • Oversee and execute branding initiative, including logo development and brand consistency across platforms.
  • Design and develop research dissemination materials, including brochures, posters, annual reports, presentations and study-related materials.
  • Lead website and digital media development, including content strategy, user experience and visual design.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced research environment.
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed.


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training and/or experience plus four years of related experience in media, communications, branding, or creative project coordination.
  • Experience working in a hospital setting or academic center.
  • Strong understanding of design, copy and web best practices/guidelines.
  • Demonstrated experience working with scientists, researchers or academic teams to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Experience with website and digital content development, including user experience considerations.
  • Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as perform as part of a team.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Prior work with behavioral research and/or science groups.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.


Other Requirements



  • Must successfully complete applicable compliance and systems training requirements.
