Position Title: Warehouse Pick Packer
Wage: $18.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great Warehouse Pick Packer opportunity available at a company in Grinnell, IA. Apply now! The Warehouse Pick Packer is responsible for picking parts from warehouse inventory, packaging products according to customer specifications, and preparing orders for shipment. This role ensures products are packaged securely to prevent damage during transit while maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. Warehouse Pick Packer Responsibilities: - Pick parts from warehouse inventory using packing slips - Package and palletize products according to shipping requirements - Assemble packaging materials such as boxes or crates as needed - Label, record, and verify packaged items before shipment - Inspect packaging for tears, cracks, or damage before shipping - Organize products on pallets to ensure safe and secure transport - Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing empty pallets, wrap, and cardboard - Communicate any product or order issues to supervisors or quality personnel Requirements for Warehouse Pick Packer: - Ability to read and understand packing slips and order information - Forklift experience preferred but not required (training available) - Basic computer skills helpful - Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills - Ability to work at a steady and productive pace - Reliable attendance and punctuality - Ability to lift and move 10-35 lbs regularly (team lift required for heavier items) - Ability to stand and move throughout the shift - Ability to multitask in a warehouse environment QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
