REQUIRED

1. Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
2. Four (4) years' experience as a medical technologist/med lab technician.
3. Applicants must have completed (or be eligible for) an appropriate certification examination.
4. Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW)
   • Must submit to a color-acuity screening test. Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED

1. Master's Degree in science
2. Certified as a technical specialist (ASCP).
3. Two years of Supervisory and/or management experience in a clinical laboratory.

1. Associates Degree in laboratory science (Chemical or Biological Science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution and certification as a Medical Technologist.
   • Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW)
2. Four (4) years' experience as a medical technologist/med lab technician.
