Content Marketing Specialist - Hybrid Schedule

The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating engaging marketing content across web, video, marketing collateral, blogs, and more. This role will work with sales and product line leadership across the enterprise to craft content that differentiates Mansfield from its competitors and positions Mansfield as a thought-leader. From developing the messages and materials for sales and marketing campaigns to posting daily content in Mansfield's FUELSNews newsletter, the Content Marketing Specialist will set the tone for content across Mansfield Energy's marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and synthesize multiple sources of industry information, including industry trends, competitive intelligence and other industry information, in order to generate impactful content for customers including web articles, brochures, video scripts, presentations and more.
  • Distill the available data and publish daily and quarterly reports that are both insightful and thought-provoking
  • Work with product marketing leadership to determine possible value propositions and compositioning for Mansfield products and services
  • As needed, present trends and updates to customers, internal teams and public audiences via face-to-face meetings, webinars, and publications.
  • Execute effective marketing campaigns that generate qualified leads to drive the sales process; track results of campaigns and use results to drive future campaign creations
  • Research and understand key terms and trends, incorporating them into a thought-leading narrative for the market
  • Create SEO-friendly content that drives web traffic
  • Synthesize and write regular communications to external and internal audiences, including speeches and presentations; present materials to large well-informed audiences, which could include senior management, sales representatives, customers and prospects
  • Proofread social media posts and email newsletters for accuracy (spelling, grammar, etc.)
  • Update social and email newsletter planning calendars.

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, business, marketing, journalism, economics or related subjects required

Knowledge & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, corporate writing, or similar business function required
  • Experience in developing and implementing internal business processes, particularly training and distribution for marketing content
  • Ability to develop succinct and insightful presentation materials for marketing, sales, and senior executives
  • Excellent analytics, writing, speaking and presentation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 2010 preferred including: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel (especially vlookups, If statements, pivot tables and charts)
  • WordPress & Canva proficiency is a plus
  • An understanding of energy or commodity markets is a plus, but not required
  • Social media proficiency preferred

  • Ability to travel up to 5%
  • Knowledge of business principles involved in strategic planning
  • Strong research skills
  • Able to work independently or within a team
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to convey concepts to all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
  • Ability to think creatively and apply industry trends to ongoing projects.

Work Environment

  • 40-hour work week, hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote available once training is completed. Training can take 3 - 6 months depending on the role and the individual.

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
