Pay Rate: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday | 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM

Must be flexible to arrive early, stay late, or work weekends | Training will take place from 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM for 2 - 3 weeks

As a Quality Assurance Technician in Escondido, you'll be the one making sure every piece coming off the line meets top standards. Your attention to detail keeps production running smooth and customers coming back.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• 2 years of experience as a quality assurance technician, preferably in a similar food manufacturing environment
• Excellent attendance
• Flexible to work 12-hour shifts as needed
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Team player
• Good communicator
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

How You Keep Quality Tight

• Perform Quality and Critical Control Point (CCP) checks according to established food safety programs.
• Conduct moisture testing and other analytical tests on finished products.
• Complete GMP inspections, document deviations, and support corrective actions.
• Perform environmental monitoring, including ATP swabs, allergen swabs, and pre-operational inspections.
• Support HACCP and HARPC compliance by identifying and reporting food safety concerns.
• Verify packaging approvals and monitor product quality during production runs.
• Assist with new product trials, ingredient testing, and production quality monitoring.
• Support SQF and other regulatory or customer audits.
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are implemented and followed on the production floor.
• Maintain clear communication with Quality, Production, Maintenance, Sanitation, Warehouse, and HR teams.
• Assist with training and mentoring team members on quality and food safety practices.
