Title: CNC Lathe Machinist

Location: Camarillo, CA 93012

Shift: 2nd 1:45pm - 11:15pm (Mon-Fri)

Duration: Direct Hire

Payrate: $37/hr. on W2 with full benefits

Job Description:

• An experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines on semi-complex production jobs.
• The ideal candidate has strong CNC lathe setup and operating experience.
• Experience with Mazak controls and Y-axis machining is a big plus.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC production machines.
• Perform machining operations including cutting, drilling, reaming, forming, and deburring.
• Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and work instructions.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and maintain a clean, safe work area.

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience.
• CNC lathe setup and operation experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of machine shop math (trigonometry a plus)
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
