Join the HJF Team! HJF is seeking a Health Advisor IV to analyze and inform international medical credentialing and licensing efforts. This includes researching complex public health or policy issues related to international medical credentialing, identifying gaps in policy and practice, and leading the development of specified technical and policy deliverables. Additionally, the Advisor will develop recommendations that are supported by research findings and provide subject matter expertise in determining policy requirements. The incumbent will advise senior leaders and other high-level stakeholders on policy and/or research recommendations based on the findings. This position will be in support of the National Institute for Defense Health Cooperation (NIDHC) at the Uniformed Services University (USU). The ideal candidate will align policy recommendations to program and leadership priorities and effectively collaborate with internal and external partners. This role will primarily support policy review, policy recommendation, and the generation and dissemination of advanced knowledge products to DoW and CCMD stakeholders. The proposed role is a part-time position that will be based at NIDHC and require the ability to communicate with DoW and CCMD partners. The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing military medicine. We serve military, medical, academic and government clients by administering, managing and supporting preeminent scientific programs that benefit members of the armed forces and civilians alike. Since its founding in 1983, HJF has served as a vital link between the military medical community and its federal and private partners. HJF's support and administrative capabilities allow military medical researchers and clinicians to maintain their scientific focus and accomplish their research goals. This part time position will be scheduled for 10-20 hours per week.
