Job Overview

As the Engineering Project Coordinator, you'll be responsible for tracking Supply Chain network capital and expense projects, and systemically managing all projects and commitments (Contracts, PO's and Change Orders) for the Engineering team. You'll ensure proper accounting practices are followed and work closely with corporate Capital Planning and Capital Control teams to ensure quality and accuracy. Additionally, you'll analyze and report out on key department metrics across Capital, Maintenance and Engineering and key operational reports.

What You Will Do

  • Evaluate vendor proposal language for legal issues and other exception requirements. Own the "Exception to Contract Terms" document and procedures.
  • Own the department financial results and report all project capital and non-op expenses to Finance.
  • Lead the process of creating future year project non-op plan schedules.
  • Manage and execute Maintenance and Engineering network material handling annual service and peak support contracts. Work with Procurement to negotiate out-year pricing.
  • Evaluate and report on key department priorities: Maintenance (Limble) performance, peak equipment utilization, and packaging quality.
  • Other Engineering functions deemed necessary by management.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
  • In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.
