Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Unit in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a financial institution location as an armed patrol officer, helping maintain a welcoming environment through high-visibility rounds and thoughtful presence. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, document observations, and respond to incidents with calm, professional communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Respond to alarms, disturbances, and/or critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or public responders when appropriate.
  • Complete security-related reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs, and communicate relevant observations to supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience or 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years' security experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
