Job Description




As a Security Guard - Flex Entry Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing location, you will greet team members and visitors, verify credentials, manage entry points, and document activity while maintaining a strong, visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, processing visitor and vendor check-in and/or check-out, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, and directing individuals to approved areas.
  • Monitor and document incoming and outgoing vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic, including deliveries and pickups, and report irregular activity per site procedures to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with site contacts, and completing required reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, observe for unusual conditions, and communicate findings to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
