Pay Range*: $45.29/hr - $65.67/hr

Position Summary

This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Orange Coast Medical Center. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with our core values: Integrity, Accountability, Best Practices, Compassion and Synergy. The employee shall support Orange Coast Medical Center's strategic plan and participate in and advocate performance improvement/patient safety activities.

The Executive Assistant reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This position maintains schedules for both the CEO and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Furthermore, this position is responsible for diverse and advanced administrative functions. This position will routinely interact with high level executives in a professional and confidential manner. Lastly, this position is required to prepare professional correspondence, presentations, and take Finance and the Board of Director Committee minutes.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

  1. Manages the CEO and CFO's schedule prioritizing and maintaining workloads to ensure each executive is adequately prepared for each meeting.

  2. Arrange travel as often as needed ensuring all information is organized to provide appropriate tracking of expense reports and reimbursement.

  3. Effectively interacts and communicates with high level leadership and board members / directors to ensure all leaders have necessary follow-up materials for all meetings.

  4. Provides high level administrative and clerical support to foster smooth Hospital Administration operations.

  5. Ability to be at work and be on time.

  6. Ability to follow company policies, procedures and directives.

  7. Ability to interact in a positive and constructive manner.

  8. Ability to prioritize and multitask.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
