As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned public areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to questions, provide directions and assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with team members and local contacts. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public-facing areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and public spaces, observe for suspicious or disruptive behavior, and report concerns according to post orders and local requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site representatives and public first responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate timely updates to supervision and client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
