As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol Security Clearance in Melbourne, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents while supporting access control and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Support access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, directing visitors through check-in requirements, and reporting unusual activity.
• Complete detailed patrol logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership, and assist with security-related drills and post orders as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2+ years of Security Experience.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
