Advanced Practice Provider Pre-Admission Testing (PAT)

Seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider for a Part-time position in Pre-Admission Testing at UH Beachwood Medical Center. APP to work in collaboration with Anesthesiology to assess pre-operative patient referrals. Clinical focus on medical optimization of patients prior to elective surgical procedures to include ordering of diagnostic testing and interpretation of results. Schedule is 10 hour day shifts (Mon-Fri) no weekends or holidays. 1 year Advanced practice provider experienc required.

A Brief Overview

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.

• Advances own professional development through self-directed learning, continuing education and participation in peer review

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
