Job Summary

Coordinates the implementation and operational delivery of educational service programs within the Partnership Programs area. Success in this role requires strong public speaking skills, time management, organization, and institutional knowledge. Serves as a liaison between the college and partners, coordinating outreach activities and updating program promotional materials. Schedules, coordinates, and promotes corporate and government course offerings. Works closely with Law Enforcement Training Facilities. This position requires frequent travel to partner sites within Maricopa County.

Essential Functions

40% - Coordinates partnership educational programs, including conducting student registration presentations virtually or at partner locations within Maricopa County. Serves as a liaison between partners and the college by maintaining regular communication with training coordinators, attending meetings, and coordinating outreach activities. Utilizes critical thinking and strategic problem-solving to address complex challenges.
30% - Manages the review and processing of credit for prior learning for partners. Communicates student options, obtains necessary verifications, reviews applications, and tracks and monitors processing to ensure timely completion. Coordinates instructor peer evaluations to ensure adherence to academic standards while monitoring and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
20% - Assists students with phone, email, or in-person inquiries. Collaborates closely with faculty, the partnership team, and other stakeholders on initiatives, program changes, and special projects. Responsible for course scheduling, record management, and assisting with grade submissions.
10% - Oversees, promotes, and coordinates the scheduling and delivery of courses for corporate and government partners. Facilitates the creation and updating of promotional materials and web pages. Represents the college at partner educational fair events. Assigned special projects by the supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration, or a directly related field and one year of experience in researching information, gathering data, performing preliminary analysis and preparing reports.

OR

An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.

Desired Qualifications

A. Experience providing excellent service to internal and external customers
B. Experience delivering professional presentations to groups
C. Excellent written communication skills (Note: application materials will be evaluated on this area)
D. Experience coordinating and servicing corporate and/or government educational programs
E. Experience working in Higher Education
F. Experience with current MCCCD enrollment systems such as Student Information System (SIS), and PeopleSoft
G. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
H. One (1) year of relevant full-time MCCCD experience during the previous two (2) years

Special Working Conditions

May be required to work at multiple sites or locations. Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Summer hours Monday-Thursday 7:30am-6:00pm. Work Schedule Varies - May be required to work evenings and weekends. May be required to lift or carry up to 25lbs. May be required to sit for a prolonged period of time; viewing a computer monitor. Climbing stairs and/or ladders to reach assigned areas along with working at heights. Work outdoors in a variety of temperatures and environmental conditions. Will be required to work in an area of light to heavy noise levels daily

Possession of a valid State of Arizona Class D Driver's License is required; employee must meet district minimum standards regarding driving:
