CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager - Water/Wastewater to join our CES Team at a client site in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will serve as a trusted partner to owners, designers, and project teams, providing strategic cost estimating and cost management support from early planning through design and construction-helping projects stay aligned with scope, schedule, and budget.



What You'll Do:

    Oversee every phase of cost estimating projects, from planning to design and implementation, ensuring quality and efficiency at every step
  • Build and nurture client partnerships, understanding their needs and delivering creative, cost-effective solutions
  • Manage contracts, purchase orders, project documentation, and daily correspondence with clients and subcontractors
  • Take charge of project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash management, while ensuring timely payments and accurate reporting
  • Lead monthly project review meetings, communicating progress and updates to clients, management, and project teams
  • Develop and implement health and safety plans, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Embrace a "seller/doer" mindset, actively developing new business opportunities and expanding services provided


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 7 years of industry experience required; minimum of 4 years of project management experience required
  • Water/wastewater or municipality utility experience preferred
  • Proven ability to manage project accounting processes (budgeting, forecasts, and cash management) as well as prepare proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and project closeout documents
  • Demonstrated experience managing client relationships, interpreting contract requirements, and overseeing multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience with Microsoft Office required; knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, and/or Deltek Vision preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt style for various audiences
  • Experience leveraging problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
  • Ability to travel as needed and work collaboratively with project teams
  • Consulting experience highly preferred
  • PMP, PE or equivalent professional license preferred

Salary Range:

$105,000 - $120,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
