Summary of Job Description:

The Senior Accountant (Sales Audit) position is responsible for performing accurate and timely processing of transactions and account reconciliations.This position leads the processes in resolving sales discrepancies, contacting stores and validating interface activity, and leading ad hoc requests as well as accurately reporting data reports to internal/external processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads the process to review store cash sheet data received electronically on a daily basis.Ensures sales related data from POS is complete and accurate to be posted to the general ledger on a weekly basis.
  • Leads the sales audit process, ensuring proper recording and reporting of sales transactions. Reviews data to ensure it is reasonable and complete and identifies any problems. Performs system downloads to identify problems and follows up on data issues.
  • Provides customer service to Operations, responding to sales inquiries and resolving any issues via Panda Self Service Portal.
  • Oversee all accounting activities related to Delivery as a Service (DaaS), including billing, set up, and accruals.
  • Leads the Panda Rewards accounting process.Ensures all reward points are captured and accounted for in General Ledger.
  • Performs system maintenance on the accounting subsystem (PAWS) and/or Crunchtime before data is posted to the General Ledger.
  • Participates in special projects, training sales associates, and proactively seeking ways to further improve efficiency in the department.

Your background & experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with coursework in Accounting required
  • Minimum five years of related experience, preferably in a retail/hospitality environment
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: P3: $90,000 - $126,000 / Annual

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
