Join the Data Solutions team as an Orbital Weld Process Technician, where you'll play a key role in setting up and maintaining orbital welding operations for high-performance liquid cooling systems. This position supports production flow, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain orbital welding equipment, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Execute T-Drill operations and manifold assembly, ensuring precise alignment, structural integrity, and fitment of all components according to technical specifications.
- Perform specified preventative maintenance procedures and assist Maintenance and outside sources with troubleshooting testing equipment.
- Support Quality Assurance by ensuring proper inspection protocols and compliance documentation are followed.
- Train new technicians on standard operating procedures and best practices.
- Participate in Lean and Kaizen activities to drive continuous process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with orbital welding systems and precision measuring tools preferred.
- Proven experience with T-drill operations and complex manifold assembly is a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a steadfast commitment to safety and quality.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with shifting priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $23.90 - $44.40 Per Hour
