Position Summary:

The Commercial Business Architect is responsible for aligning B2B business strategy with operational execution by designing and optimizing business capabilities, processes, and organizational structures. This strategic role owns and drives the Commercial Business Operations roadmap, ensuring cross-functional alignment, integrated planning, and enterprise readiness to support evolving business models, increasing operational complexity, and future growth. The Architect acts as a bridge between strategic intent and execution, helping the organization scale effectively while enabling agility, accountability, and operational excellence across Sales, Customer Support, and other go-to-market functions.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 8-12 years of progressive experience in business architecture, operations strategy, or enterprise process design.
  • Deep experience leading cross-functional transformation initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Knowledge of BPMN 2.0


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exposure to AI/ML solutions and their application in business processes (e.g., forecasting, automation, personalization)
  • Ability to partner with Data Science, AI Product, or Engineering teams to embed AI into operational workflows
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to translate business goals into actionable strategies and operational blueprints.
  • Business Process Design: Expertise in mapping, documenting, and optimizing end-to-end business processes, particularly in B2B contexts.
  • Systems Thinking: Strong understanding of enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, eCommerce, analytics) and how they enable commercial operations.
  • Change Management: Proven ability to lead organizational change, including stakeholder alignment, communication, and adoption planning.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Skilled at engaging cross-functional partners and presenting to senior executives.
  • Analytical Acumen: Comfortable with data-driven decision-making and performance measurement.
  • Leadership: Experience building and leading teams; ability to inspire collaboration and accountability across functions.
  • Experience scaling B2B customer operations or enterprise account models is a plus.
  • Familiarity with subscription-based revenue models, enterprise billing systems, and customer lifecycle frameworks is a plus.
  • Background in industries such as SaaS, membership organizations, certification bodies, or complex services businesses is a plus.
  • Experience of working in an agile, dynamic, and customer-centric environment
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English)
