We're seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Regulatory Reporting to join our Fund Reporting team. This role is located in Boston MA In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Provide oversight and set priorities for multiple teams responsible for preparing and reviewing regulatory filings on behalf of clients and their funds
- Set up and oversee processes that check for completeness and accuracy of disclosure in regulatory filings
- Resolve complex escalated issues from team members
- Oversee relationships with senior-level auditors to ensure regulatory reporting meets their expectations and accurately reflects them in the day to day controls
- Line of business contact of multiple client relationships and oversight of all client escalations, supporting clients with daily inquiries, errors and access needs. Attend meetings as needed to review upcoming events or regulation changes. Partner with internal teams to respond to clients as appropriate.
- Implement strategies to monitor regulatory developments and respond accordingly, acting as a regulation and service expert in client-facing situations
- Lead/support initiatives to transform existing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth, and ability to function effectively as a team
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- 7-10 years of experience in fund administration or accounting and 2-4 years of management experience preferred
- Experience in handling Form N-PORT, required
- Proven ability to recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, managing multiple teams and resources effectively
- Client service skills required. Proven ability to manage multiple clients while ensuring teams meet overall line of business deliverables

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
