Construction Supervisor - Telecom (Aerial & Underground) Lead. Build. Make an Impact. We're looking for a hands-on, motivated Construction Supervisor to take charge of daytoday field operations across both underground and aerial telecommunications construction projects. In this frontline leadership role, you'll guide crews, uphold safety and quality standards, and drive projects to successful, ontime completion. Why This Role Matters As a Construction Supervisor, you are the bridge between field crews and upper management-ensuring that every jobsite runs safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standard. You'll play a critical role in delivering the fiber and telecom infrastructure that keeps communities connected. What You'll Do 1. Lead Field Crews & Oversee Daily Operations * Supervise underground and aerial crews-including operators, laborers, linemen, and locators. * Run daily tailgate meetings to review goals, safety topics, and work plans. * Mentor newer crew members and ensure teams meet expectations for safety, quality, and production. * Work closely with job site foremen to achieve daily and weekly production targets. 2. Drive a Culture of Safety * Enforce OSHA, DOT, NESC, 811, and internal safety policies. * Ensure proper use of PPE, fall protection, trench protection, climbing gear, and traffic control. * Document hazards, near misses, and incidents; exercise stopwork authority when necessary. * Approve daily safety paperwork like JHAs and prejob briefings. * Perform at least five documented safety inspections per week. 3. Manage Project Execution & Quality * Review prints, permits, maps, and dig tickets before crews mobilize. * Plan work sequencing to maximize productivity and avoid delays. * Oversee trenching, boring, pole transfers, fiber lashing, slack storage, grounding, vault/cabinet installs, and more. * Communicate field changes in real time to management. * Ensure highquality installation of conduit, strand, fiber, tracer wire, and restoration work. * Capture redlines and field updates for accurate project closeouts. 4. Optimize Productivity & Resources * Set daily and weekly goals for production and track progress. * Monitor labor hours, equipment usage, and materials across multiple sites. * Flag material shortages, delays, or permitting issues early. * Coordinate with engineering, warehouse, logistics, and subcontractors to keep crews moving. 5. Communicate Clearly & Report Accurately * Serve as the key liaison between field teams and upper management. * Provide timely updates on progress, challenges, and resource needs. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Mogadore, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
