As a Security Officer - Unarmed Cycle Patrol in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas in a dynamic public setting, maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report unusual activity, assist visitors with directions and questions, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your team. You will represent a caring, agile, and integrity-driven culture while supporting a professional environment through teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff while following site-specific, security-related procedures and post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building interiors and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing assistance, contacting emergency services when appropriate, and following escalation protocols.
• Monitor access points and public areas as assigned, help to manage pedestrian and vehicle flow, and verify credentials and/or authorization when required.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and logs, and communicate notable activity to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
