Job Description




As a Security Guard Flex Mobile Patrol Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to guest and tenant needs with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures and access control requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control panels; respond to alerts and initiate notifications per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarms, and disruptive behavior; assist with evacuations and/or shelter-in-place activities as directed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and noteworthy activities in daily logs and reports; communicate updates to property management and Allied Universal leadership as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
