As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site access for employees, visitors, and drivers, verify credentials, support gate and dock operations, and document security-related activity with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at warehouse and distribution entrances by verifying identification, processing visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, and issuing temporary credentials per site policy.
• Monitor truck and trailer flow at gates and dock areas by confirming appointments, checking shipping and receiving documentation, and directing vehicles to designated staging and/or loading areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including handling access disputes, alarms, and notifications from site teams.
• Complete accurate security-related reports and logs, including access records, incident documentation, and observations that may help to deter unauthorized entry and/or loss.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
