Pay: $21 per hour

Shift: 6am-6pm Wednesday-Saturday or Sunday-Wednesday

Responsibilities:



  • Monitoring the fire alarm system
  • Vendor Registration / Inspection
  • Fire Panel Tacking
  • Respond to injuries and administer care or contact the proper authorities to assist with the call
  • Actively work with local first responders should they need to call them
  • Identify hazards in the facility and generate ideas on solution and/or resolve the issue
  • Conduct periodic inspection of fire suppression system:
  • Sprinkler
  • Check for water pressure on all sprinkler risers
  • Check for leaks of the sprinkler pipe
  • Check for malfunctions throughout the system
  • Check the Heating units
  • Perform Fire Pump Testing
  • Check Fuel level of Fuel Tanks
  • Fire Extinguishers Inspections
  • Hose Cabinets Inspections
  • VESDA Unit Inspection (including ECO's)
  • Low Point Drain inspections
  • ARD's (visual/reset when needed)
  • FDC (visual)
  • Fire Hydrant (visual)
  • PIV (visual)
  • Fire Exits (visual/fix when needed)
  • Fire Exit Routs (visual/fix when needed)
  • Combustible Storage
  • Inspect permanents hot work areas
  • Gas leaks

Requirements



  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience (Firefighter, Fire and Safety, Fire Inspector, etc.)
  • Some occasional international travel required
