Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol

As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol in Prattville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-traffic retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet customers and associates, respond to questions and concerns, and communicate clearly with the site team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, employees, and/or shoppers by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and operational concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key access points for unusual activity, support loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting suspicious behavior, and assist with crowd and/or line management during peak periods.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and customer interactions in written reports, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal management and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
