*Job Title: Recruiter*
*Job Description* The Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for a variety of manufacturing roles ranging from entry-level production to skilled trades and leadership positions. This role partners closely with hiring managers, HR, and operations teams to ensure efficient staffing, support workforce planning, and maintain a strong candidate pipeline to meet production demands. *Key Responsibilities* *Full-Cycle Recruiting* * Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for manufacturing roles (e.g., machine operators, maintenance technicians, assemblers, quality inspectors, supervisors). * Source candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, career fairs, and industry networks. * Conduct phone screens and initial interviews to assess experience, skills, and job fit. * Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and schedule onsite evaluations or skills tests when applicable. *Partnership with Operations* * Work closely with plant managers, HR partners, and operations leaders to understand staffing needs, skill gaps, and hiring priorities. * Provide market insights on labor availability, wage trends, and competitive hiring strategies. *Administrative & Compliance* * Maintain accurate applicant tracking system (ATS) records and ensure compliance with company hiring processes. * Support onboarding activities including offer letters, background checks, and new hire coordination. * Track and report on recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, hiring success rates). *Talent Pipeline & Employer Branding* * Build and nurture a pipeline of manufacturing talent for current and future openings. * Promote the company brand through networking, community events, job fairs, and partnerships with local schools/training programs. *Essential Skills* * Ability to act in an action-oriented manner and drive for exceptional results. * Effective communication with employees and management at all levels. * Strong skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Ability to use ATS systems. * Strong attention to detail. * Process and problem-solving skills. * Adaptability to change and working in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to handle sensitive material. * Meeting commitments with the highest standard of ethics and integrity. * Ability to travel up to 5%. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* * Strong knowledge of an HRIS system preferred. * Knowledge of HR law (FMLA, HIPAA, etc.) preferred. * Associate's Degree in Human Resources or Business Management. * 2-3 years recruiting experience for industrial manufacturing roles. * Experience with high volume recruiting. * Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred. * Experience in internal recruiting preferred, but agency background considered. *Work Environment* This role requires working onsite five days a week in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position involves collaboration with a diverse team, maintaining flexibility, and being open to change due to ongoing organizational developments. *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, WI. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
