Job Description Summary
The Applications Administrator (AA) provides leadership, technical expertise, day-to-day administration, and support of Nazareth's student success applications. The primary application is EAB Navigate360 and its associated platform integrations though related systems may also be assigned. Platform integrations include, but may not be limited to learning management systems ( LMS), student success applications, course catalog applications, online exam systems, etc. This position ensures reliable application performance, user support, data integrity, and continuous improvement of the supported environments to ensure high-quality outcomes for students across the University.
As a member of the Information Technology Services ( ITS) team, the AA works collaboratively with Faculty Fellow for Data Governance in Student Thriving, faculty, staff, and leadership to ensure student success applications are reliable, accurate, and accessible.
Essential Functions
Application Administration & Maintenance

  • Serve as the primary administrator for Navigate360 and assigned software platforms.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, roles, etc. for assigned applications in coordination with ITS and applicable University data owners such as Registration and Records, Academic Advisement, etc.
  • Oversee application integrations with University systems such as student information systems (SIS), video platforms, third-party platforms, etc.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and guides for administering assigned applications.
  • Plan, coordinate and perform as necessary regular application maintenance, updates, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure platform reliability and data security.
  • Monitor applications performance and usage metrics; provide required reporting as defined by the supervisor.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues proactively.
  • Adhere to all applicable ITS change management and support ticket processes.
  • Serve as Nazareth's point of contact to vendors and representatives of assigned application(s).
  • Maintain applicable data archiving processes and similar data cleansing per applicable data retention directives.


Support & Training

  • Coordinating with Academic Advisement and Provide Tier 1 and 2 support for applications-related inquiries from users.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, guides, and training materials for users.
  • Collaborate with the application stakeholder teams to support faculty, staff, and students in effective and innovative use of assigned technology platform(s)s.

Quality, Compliance & Innovation

  • Ensure assigned application(s) and integrated tools meet institutional accessibility, privacy, and data security standards.
  • Collaborate with campus partners to evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance University capabilities for excellence in the use of technology to further its mission.
  • Support reporting and analytics related to applications usage, user engagement, and application performance.
  • Participate as directed by the supervisor in campus meetings.

Required Education, Experience, Technology Applications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Instructional Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience administering enterprise applications such as Navigate360 or with client relationship management (CRM), learning management (LMS), or other relevant applications in an educational or corporate setting.
  • Strong understanding of software platform architecture, data integrations, and APIs.
  • Demonstrated experience with user account management, data imports/exports, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Commitment to equity, accessibility, and inclusiveness.

Preferred Education, Experience, Technology Applications and Skills

  • Experience with database management, scripting, or reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, or similar).
  • Knowledge of LMS standards (LTI, SCORM, xAPI) and accessibility compliance (WCAG, ADA).
  • Experience in higher education and/or academic technology environments.
  • Familiarity with CRM or LMS administration or related applications environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

  • Learning management systems, technologies to support teaching and learning, Google Suite
  • Proficiency with typical office equipment is necessary for this role, including computers, printers, scanners, telephones, and photocopiers
