Assistant Information Technology (IT) Support Lead
Fort Bragg, North Carolina ATS is looking for a qualified Assistant Information Technology (IT) Support Lead to support the Special Operations Mission Training Center Facility at Fort Bragg, NC. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support and assist the IT Support Lead in managing IT and cybersecurity operations for the Special Operations Mission Training Center, ensuring secure, compliant, and reliable information systems. Execute and maintain DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, including development, management, and sustainment of RMF packages within eMASS, to support Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements. Conduct vulnerability assessments and security scans, utilizing ACAS/Nessus tools to identify, analyze, document, and track vulnerabilities and remediation actions. Develop, update, and maintain RMF artifacts, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), security control assessments, and supporting documentation. Monitor system security posture and assist with incident response, supporting detection, analysis, containment, and reporting of cybersecurity incidents in coordination with Government stakeholders. Support implementation and validation of security controls, ensuring compliance with NIST, FISMA, and DoD cybersecurity policies across Windows, Linux, and network environments. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IT staff, supporting security best practices, system hardening, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity operations. Serve as a liaison with cybersecurity and accreditation authorities, supporting audits, inspections, and compliance reviews as required. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Personnel work closely with military leadership, government representatives, contractors, and visiting units, often in a dynamic environment with frequent schedule changes, after-hours requirements, and surge operations. The position requires strict adherence to Army physical security policies, discretion when handling sensitive information, constant attention to detail, and a strong customer-service mindset while operating within controlled access areas and under Secret-level security clearance requirements.
