RSG seeks a Pricing Analyst that will support the development, analysis, and execution of pricing and cost proposals for public- and private-sector engagements. This role is responsible for building and maintaining pricing models, supporting resource-based cost analyses, and ensuring pricing inputs are accurate, compliant, and aligned with RSG's business objectives. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Analyze pricing data, cost structures, and staffing scenarios to support proposal development, renewals, and contract modifications.





  • Develop and maintain pricing and cost models to support RFP/RFQ responses, renewals, and contract modifications.





  • Collaborate with Contracts, Finance, Operations, and proposal teams to ensure pricing inputs align with engagement strategy and approved rate structures.





  • Review contract terms and conditions for compliance with pricing policies.





  • Provide timely and accurate pricing analyses and recommendations for leadership and proposal team review.





  • Ensure pricing documentation and analyses align with client, contractual, and regulatory pricing requirements.





  • Prepare pricing reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal leadership.





  • Contribute to continuous improvement of pricing templates, tools, and documentation standards.





  • Other duties as assigned.




QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience




  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.





  • 3-5 years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, contracts, or proposal support (government contracting experience a plus).





  • Experience supporting public-sector professional services (government consulting) pricing strongly preferred.




Knowledge, Skills and Abilities




  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups); strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and data management tools.





  • Knowledge of cost-based pricing, labor category structures, rate development, and professional services economics.





  • Strong foundation in financial analysis, pricing model development, and cost accounting principles.





  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.





  • Experience with ERP systems, pricing tools, or contract management systems preferred.





  • Familiarity with government contract pricing regulations.





  • SQL or advanced data analytics skills preferred.





  • Experience supporting public- and private-sector professional services proposals, experience in the transportation industry highly preferred





  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to explain pricing assumptions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.





  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, geographically dispersed team





  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently

  • Frequently communicates with colleagues and clients. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
