Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Business Development Manager for our Specialty Solutions team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. The Business Development Manager utilizes consultative sales to understand client needs and sell customized Onsite and Performance Management Solutions, including Cost Per Unit Work Cells. Responsibilities include prospecting, negotiating, and exceeding revenue targets, while collaborating internally to ensure seamless transitions from prospecting to service delivery, enhancing client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

Essential Duties

Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these:

  • Identify and target large-volume Onsite customers and performance-based solutions opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand target accounts and their business needs.
  • Build and maintain an active sales pipeline with prospects engaged in onsite programs or cost-per-unit opportunities.
  • Strategically developing and expanding territory through in-person and virtual engagement, targeting senior level decision-makers to position Staffmark's Specialty Solutions as long-term partners.
  • Meet with customers to assess their staffing challenges and develop tailored solutions in collaboration with the Performance Management Group and Solution Design teams.
  • Utilize technology tools for effective sales process management and maintain comprehensive documentation of prospects and customers in company systems.
  • Enhancing the Company image in the external community through developing and maintaining relationships and activities with local organizations and community leaders.

Competencies

Competencies we value for this role include: Outstanding customer service, financial management skills, ethical conduct, detail-oriented, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong time management skills, a passion for continuous improvement, intermediate skills in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), proven strong organizational skills, and an ability to effectively prioritize in a multi-task environment. We also desire 3-5 years of similar experience in staffing, customer service, or human resources.
