For our MIR and AMMEGA Production team, we are currently looking for a

Production Manager

As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for the overall efficient functioning of the branch production shop. You will report to the Regional Production Manager and be part of the Production team. In this role, you will be based in Salt Lake City.

A day in the life of a Production Manager can look like:

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and oversee our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all production lines and maintaining the highest quality standards in our output.

As a Production Manager, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of production procedures to drive efficiency and productivity. Your ability to motivate and direct personnel towards optimal performance will distinguish you as a leader within our organization. You will engage in decision-making and problem-solving on a daily basis, ensuring that our manufacturing processes align with customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize production schedules to meet demand.
  • Assess project and resource requirements to optimize workflow.
  • Estimate, negotiate, and agree on budgets and timelines with clients and management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Establish and uphold quality control standards throughout the production process.
  • Oversee and monitor production processes to ensure efficiency.
  • Adjust timescales or schedules as necessary to meet changing demands.
  • Select, order, and purchase materials required for production.
  • Organize repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.
  • Collaborate with buyers, marketing, and sales teams to align production with market needs.
  • Supervise and manage junior staff, providing guidance and support.

We are looking for you to have

  • A High School diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • At least three (3) years of experience as a conveyor belt fabricator.
  • Some supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong fundamental math skills.
  • Ability to regularly lift heavy weight materials (75+ pounds on average).
  • Ability to regularly bend, stoop, rotate arms and upper body; ability to frequently push, pull, sit, stand, and reach. Some climbing is required.
  • Leadership acumen.
  • Positive team spirit.
  • Learning agility.
  • Ability to deliver what is promised.
  • Drive for change and innovation.
  • Ability to build relationships through collaboration.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
