Requisition Summary
The primary focus of this position will be to support Summer Test trip activities within the Thermal Management Group. The Instrumentation summer intern will work closely with and under the mentorship of experienced technical and engineering staff while assisting with the preparation of offsite test vehicles, installing instrumentation and data acquisition equipment. The intern will assist with the pre-test data collection in "real-world" truck operation and ensure measurement accuracy. This position will collaborate with engineering and technical staff outside the department, offering a broader exposure to the work performed at the Technical Center and PACCAR's North American engineering organizations. The Summer Internship Program provides the opportunity to contribute to PACCAR's truck and technology development efforts while gaining valuable technical skills and experience. The Program also organizes social events with interns working in various groups at the Technical Center and other engineering facilities. Company Information
