Position Summary:

The Senior Analyst, HR Process & Change Management, will be a key contributor HR Performance Improvement team, focusing on optimizing HR processes and ensuring successful adoption of new initiatives through effective change management strategies.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy this role leads complex analytical projects, identifies process bottlenecks, and provides informal leadership and mentorship to other team members.

This role will play an integral role in the development and maintenance of an HR Service Delivery Playbook that will serve as the definitive 'source of truth' for standardized HR workflows and process improvements.

Additionally, this role will focus on leveraging advanced analytics and process improvement expertise to translate technical data and insights into operational improvements for the HR team.

The incumbent will manage/lead projects and processes that are often complex; and will be required to analyze problems/issues of a diverse scope.

This individual is responsible for serving as a change agent for the development and implementation of major process improvement ideas throughout the organization.

Responsibilities will specifically be focused on gathering and analyzing data to evaluate current business practices and providing solutions to reduce costs and improve productivity and efficiency and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Analysis & Design: Facilitates and at times, leads current and future state process mapping sessions for HR processes to identify areas of inefficiency and waste
  • Designs optimized future-state processes
  • Develops clear documentation, analyses, and visual materials to support role clarity, capacity planning, and efficiency discussions
  • Assists in the development of control plans
  • ROI Tracking: Establishes clear success metrics for projects
  • Process Improvement Methodologies: Apply Lean principles and other process improvement methodologies to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance HR service delivery
  • Supports the planning and execution of enterprise-wide integration and organizational effectiveness initiatives, including process harmonization, operating model changes, and process redesign and optimization efforts
  • Performance Dashboards: Designs and maintain automated, interactive dashboards (eg Power BI, Tableau) that track key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to continuous learning and performance improvement
  • Working Group Facilitation: Supports the Director in establishing, facilitating and at times, leading, working groups for process redesign initiatives, gathering input and driving consensus among stakeholders
  • Acts as liaison between the HR Performance Improvement team and other business functions to gather requirements, manage expectations, and facilitate information flow
  • Independently manages defined project workstreams, translating strategic objectives into structured analyses, recommendations, and implementation-ready deliverables
  • Change Management Support: Supports leaders by helping to navigate the behavioral shifts required for successful process adoption, new standardized workflow and analytics tools
  • Assists in the development and deployment of change management plans, including communication strategies, training materials, and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Playbook Documentation: Contributes to the development of the HR service delivery playbook, documenting new processes, roles, and responsibilities
  • Reviews and ensures all processes are accurate, user-friendly, and aligned with the Human Resources operating model
  • Standardization & Continuous Improvement: Continuously refines the HRSD playbook based on data-driven feedback, research into industry benchmarks, and evolving business needs to ensure operational efficiency
  • Informal Leadership & Mentorship: Serves as a point of contact for escalations, helping the team navigate data discrepancy a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Project Support: Provides strong project management support for various HR transformation initiatives, ensuring milestones are met and objectives are achieved

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, or a related field,
  • 5-7 years + of experience preferred in business process analysis, process improvement, or change management roles, preferably within an HR context,
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Change Management (eg Prosci) is a plus
  • Proven experience with process mapping tools and methodologies (eg Visio, BPMN)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
  • Broad strategic thinker, with a clear vision and high degree of understanding of change management concepts and practices
  • Excellent presentation skills with solid communication capabilities and practices, both oral and written
  • Exceptional communication skills with the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to multiple levels within the organization
