SUMMARY
This NARMD Manager role works to ensure quality handling of all products, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals, their movement internally, and their preparation/packing for outbound orders. The primary purpose is to oversee all SOPs/Work Instructions and maintain inventory accuracy and the utilization of FEFO to ensure the customer and regulatory requirements are met.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
This is not an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities. Projects/duties may be modified/changed/added/deleted as needed.
- Directly supervise all associates assigned to the NARMD team (NARMD/Temps/Clients)
- Train/coach/develop NARMD team members, ensuring safety, cross-training, and coverage. (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, assembly)
- Utilize internal reports and the team's ability to help plan for, request, and train additional short-term support.
- Understands, adheres to, and enforces all regulatory policies that ensure NARMD meets all standards from DEA, DHEC, BOP, NABP, SOX, FDA, and our customers/vendors.
- Support all readiness plans for all audits/inspections from various regulatory agencies.
- Support CAPA, NC, and Complaint investigations.
- Know/understand NARMD unique inventory including but not limited to UOMs, unpack/repack, expiration dating, lots, serial numbers, new product lines, and new assembly builds.

- Know/understand the handling requirements for medical devices, pharmaceuticals, refrigerated items, climate control items, and class drugs.
- Ensure that all SOPs and work instructions are followed by NARMD team members.
- Know/understand the related receiving/pick/pack/shipping processing requirements for NARMD customers. (DAPA/DHS/DLA)
- Know/understand the quality process's associated with receiving, assembly orders, and KPIs.
- Cooperate with other NARMD departments and all other NARMD associates to provide "Internal Customer" support, as required.
- Ensure NARMD is represented on the NAR safety team and that all safety audits for NARMD are completed on time.
- Support current and help development KPIs to help drive growth internally and share a realistic picture externally.
- Inventory management ensuring cycle counts are completed on demand/reconciled, old stock worked, customer reported shortages/overages, and destruction orders processed.
- Other duties as assigned.
SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes any other duties and/or projects assigned by leadership.
- Manage department activity efficiency to ensure sufficient resources are available and premium/overtime work is minimized.
- After 1 year of handling pharmaceuticals, study for and take the Certified Designated Representative test for FL and CA.
ACCOUNTABILITY
- Supervise and develop NARMD associates (including temps and client staff), ensuring safe, cross-trained coverage across receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and assembly operations.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance by understanding, enforcing, and maintaining standards required by (DEA), (DHEC), (BOP), (NABP), (FDA), and (SOX), as well as all customer and vendor requirements.
- Oversee inventory integrity, including cycle counts, reconciliations, lot/serial and expiration controls, regulated product handling, and discrepancy resolution.
- Drive operational performance through SOP adherence, quality process oversight, KPI management, workforce planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business and/or related field preferred
Competency and Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and basic experience in MS Excel spreadsheet creation and interpretation is preferred; previous material handling duties/responsibilities are required.
Experience
- Three years minimum in a supervisory role in a product warehouse/production/assembly environment.
DEMANDS
Time and Availability
- Must be able to work normal or extended work hours.
- Occasionally may have to work extended hours on the weekends.
Travel
- Ability to travel long distances by car and airplane.
- Ability to be absent from home for multiple days at a time and multiple times per year to support any warehouse processing/shipping/freight-related issues that may require troubleshooting and resolution on behalf of external customers and our company.

- Occasional bending, squatting, stooping, and reaching.
