Position Summary
This position will serve as an Associate Clinical Research Coordinator within the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Hematology/Oncology. Specifically, this role will primarily serve as a facilitator for a large biobanking protocol for children with suspected or confirmed malignancies. The Associate Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for the execution of clinical research protocols, including leading efforts in gathering, compiling, and reporting data for a variety of research studies.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences

  • Prior experience with clinical or therapeutic Phase I, II, and III research involving drugs or devices in pediatric and/or oncology populations.
  • Previous experience completing regulatory documents and/or submitting regulatory applications to UNC IRB, WIRB/Copernicus or NCI-CIRB.
  • Knowledge of ICH GCP, Federal Regulations and Guidelines, as well as the ability to adhere to established regulations, procedures, and protocols in practice.

  • SOCRA/ACRP Certification.
